Ingredients for Making Delicious Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar.
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water.
Procedure For Making Delicious Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two nine-inch round baking pans.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder (if using). Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix together until well combined. Stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from pan.
