Role Playing Summary
Maggie, a grumpy forty-eight-year-old hermit, accepts her college-aged son’s deal to become more social. She joins an online gaming guild led by the friendly healer Otter, using the name Bogwitch to avoid misunderstandings. Otter, actually Aiden, is a fifty-year-old optimist seeking emotional solace from family drama. He cares for his aging mother while his brother is involved with Aiden’s ex-fiancée. Bogwitch and Otter quickly become virtual friends, but there’s a twist: Bogwitch believes Otter is a college student, and Otter assumes Bogwitch is an octogenarian.
