Prologue. Dilan, a 21-year-old adrenaline junkie, was bored with the mundane life on Earth. Undying Warlord. New Year’s Eve, a seemingly ordinary night, turned into a nightmarish adventure when he was flung through the air during a raging storm on a mountainside. Pricked by an ancient tree trunk, he should have died, but fate had other plans. As he lay dying, a cosmic event occurred, connecting every living being on Earth to the Log of the Ancient, a mysterious status system. The world changed forever, turning into a bloody battlefield as the Primordial Ascension unsealed the shackles that had weighed on the planet for millions of years.
Mythical mana was unleashed, animals began to mutate, zombies emerged, and monsters from fairy tales appeared out of Gates. In this new world, Dilan’s thirst for adrenaline would be quenched, but at a great cost. Chapter 1: Undying Existence. Dilan woke up in a hospital bed, his body aching all over. He looked down at his hands, surprised to see that they were unblemished. He had been sure that he had died. A nurse entered the room, her eyes widening in surprise at seeing him awake. “You’re awake!” she exclaimed. “That’s a miracle.”
“What happened to me?” Dilan asked, his voice hoarse. “You were found unconscious on the mountainside,” the nurse replied. “You had a severe concussion, but you’re lucky to be alive.” Dilan frowned. He remembered the storm and the tree trunk, but he didn’t remember anything else. “Is there anyone I can call?” he asked. The nurse nodded. “We found your phone in your pocket. We’ve already contacted your parents. They’re on their way.” Dilan’s parents arrived a short time later. They were overjoyed to see him alive. “We were so worried about you,” his mother said, hugging him tightly.
“What happened out there?” his father asked. “How did you survive?” Dilan shook his head. “I don’t know,” he said. Dilan’s parents stayed with him at the hospital for the rest of the day. He couldn’t shake the feeling that the world had changed. He news anchor was talking about a series of strange events that had been happening all over the world. “Animals are mutating,” the anchor said. “Zombies are emerging from the dead. And monsters from fairy tales are appearing out of thin air.”
Dilan’s heart pounded in his chest. Chapter 2: The Log of the Ancient Dilan went home and turned on his own TV. He watched the news reports in disbelief. The world was in chaos. He didn’t know what to do. He was just an ordinary guy. He couldn’t fight against the monsters and zombies that were now roaming the Earth.
He decided to do some research. He learned that the Log of the Ancient was a mysterious status system that had been connected to every living being on Earth. It was said that the Log could grant great power to those who were worthy. Dilan decided to try to activate his Log. He closed his eyes and concentrated. He imagined a portal opening up in front of him. Suddenly, he felt a surge of energy course through his body. He opened his eyes and saw a holographic screen floating in front of him. The screen was divided into three sections: Stats, Skills, and Inventory.
